The Rose, (더로즈) debuted on August 3rd, 2017 with ‘Sorry’ under J&Star Company. Their fandom name is “Black Rose”. They did not disband .

Before their debut, Dojoon was training under DSP Media(home to April, KARD, etc.) and busking. Jaehyeong met Hajoon while practicing in the same studio then began busking together. Once Dojoon left DSP, he joined Jaehyeong and Hajoon and began busking as Windfall. Here is their cover of Lonely by N.Flying.
Dojoon met Woosung through a friend and asked him to join the band. They joined J&Star in 2016, debuted in 2017 then officially terminated their contract in 2021 after the band filed a lawsuit back in 2019 due to mistreatment and not being paid. Every month on the 3rd, Black Roses participate in Black Rose Selca Day .
